Only several decades ago hymenorrhaphy (restoration of a hymen), was absolutely inconceivable.
The hymen is a part of a mucous membrane of a vagina which completely or only partially covers an entrance to a vagina. Skin is often broken off after the first sexual intercourse.

6. Pregnancy and lactation.

8. Purulent infections of skin and mucous membranes.
9. HIV.
10. STD.

Hymenorrhaphy cannot be executed neither at women in labor, nor at the patients having diabetes, any vaginal infection or cancer. Though there are no complications after the procedure. Hymenorrhaphy is usually carried out not later than in five days before there comes the next menstruatsionny period. But at first the doctor carefully examines the patient and channelizes on analyses to be convinced that there are no contraindications on operation.
