Antidepressants are a group of the medicines with timoanaleptichesky effect normalizing activity of neurotransmitters (for example, serotonin, noradrenaline, dopamine) due to the direct or mediated impact on the level of monoamines. In international Anatomo - the N06Axxx code which is the subsection with drugs for treatment of diseases of a nervous system is assigned for therapeutic and chemical classification of medicines (ATC) for them. In other words, clinical use of antidepressants it is not limited to frustration of mood — they are appointed, for example, for treatment of diseases of digestive tract, neurovegetative diseases, pain syndromes, a pseudorheumatism, other neurologic diseases.
