Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is familiar to most of women.
Monthly menstrual spasms are tolerant. But sometimes they become so strong that seriously worsen health and working capacity in everyday life.
What is menstrual pains?
Pain at periods (dysmenorrhea) is a colicy pain in a stomach shortly before and during periods.
Pain can give to a back or legs. Sometimes there are other problems, such as headaches, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
Pain arises because of reductions of muscles of a uterus. During periods the body spasmodic is reduced, rejecting a mucous membrane of a uterus which is formed anew every month if fertilization did not happen.
Pain at periods can be divided on:
1. Primary menstrual pain: often arises during the first periods (menarche) and accompanies women before a menopause. There is no physical disease.
2. Pain of the secondary period: usually arises aged from 30 till 40 flyings and it can be caused by a gynecologic disease, for example, of endometriosis. It leads to what the mucous membrane of a uterus settles outside a uterus. Polyps, inflammation of uterine tubes and contraceptives, such as Naval Forces, can also be the reasons of secondary menstrual pain.
Reasons of menstrual pains
The pain reasons at primary dysmenorrhea:
1. Early beginning of the first periods.
2. Genetic predisposition.
3. Low body weight.
4. Long menstrual cycle.
5. Stress.
Reasons of secondary menstrual pains:
1. Endometriosis: it is the most common cause of pains in secondary periods.
2. Myomas and polyps: these are benign tumors which cause bloody allocations and strengthening of menstrual pains.
3. Inflammation of generative organs: vaginal infections in some cases cause severe menstrual pains and discomfort during an ovulation.
4. Cancer: after approach of a menopause it is desirable to show vigilance and to address in gynecology. Such symptoms as long bleedings or brown allocations, are possible symptoms of cancer.
